The Brazilian artist Lara Klaus sings and writes her own songs. As a drummer, percussionist, and one of the members of the group LADAMA, she also produces a valuable repertoire with her band based in Montreal, Canada.

In her new single, "Quando o samba é bom," written in collaboration with Thiago Rad and Mavi Pugliesi and with musical production by the artist herself, Lara weaves the captivating pulse of samba with striking guitars and drums, and a persistent chorus that invites the listener to embrace the rhythm and surrender their body to the sensations of the present moment.

The strong and exuberant presence of Larissa Umaytá's percussion, born in the Brazilian capital, highlights the power of the collaboration between these two talented artists. Much like Lara Klaus, Larissa is also a respected educator and instrumentalist, having recorded and shared the stage with artists such as Chico César, Ellen Oléria, Hamilton de Holanda, among others.

Released with the support of the Arts Council of Montreal, Canada, and in partnership with the Six Degrees Records label.
